Attaching Product Names From A Spreadsheet
Optional, and it changes nothing about what plays. It means you will be reading product names rather than barcodes when you look down your own lists.
On Upload Videos, press Download Template — that gives you a spreadsheet with the two columns we need, Barcode and Name. Fill in a row per product, then Choose File and Import & Match.
Every barcode that matches a video you have already uploaded gets its name. Download the N with no match hands back the rows that matched nothing — usually a video you have not uploaded yet, or a barcode typed with a digit missing.
Worth Knowing
- Order does not matter. You can import names before the videos or after; whichever comes second picks up the other.
- Re-importing is safe. It updates names rather than making duplicates.
- The No Product Match column on Video Database is the list of videos still waiting on a name.
